3D DESIGN MULTIMEDIA WEB & ILLUSTRATION
I made this scene for a quick contest on a 3d forum, where we had to build a 3d version of a concept art, in this case an image done by Feng Zhu (www.artbyfeng.com).
Lately I've been fooling around with a great little plugin for 3D Max called GREEBLE found at (max.klanky.com). It just does magic with spaceship surfaces! The name "REALMS" I use is just for fun and is not related to any on going project.
Mi first attempts with greeble, really, this space station/ship was just a cube before applying the plugin. Render an earth behind it, a little tweaking in Photoshop and voilį! you have a space scene not unlike a Borg/Trek scene (chuckle).
A diferent perspective on the cube I applied the greeble plugin to. Just looks awesome, very cool little plugin.
The first render I did with the greebled cube. I'm going to have a lot of fun with this plugin in 3D Max.
A simple scene I made for promoting some online games that included online pool (which in real life is one of my passions!). I didn't get into making the whole table, just worried about a small detail shot.
The Timekeepers project (sigh)... What can I say, the visuals, concept art and 3d I made for it is something I enjoyed, even though the schewed nature of a rather unreliable source (the company owner) in truth never helped a lot. Still, I'm proud of the results! :)
