This illustration of a horse's head was made for the website of a mountain resort called Challet Tirol. A very simple pencil sketch, but it seems to be a visitor's favorite.
An illustration made for a greeting cards company. Children where the main theme, looking for the purest expresion of human feelings. Only a short series of drawings where made. It's color pencil over brown paper.
Also for the greeting cards company, this other illustration was about love as a pure emotion. It's color pencil over brown paper.
Another Illustration made for the Challet Tirol. This one wasn't used but I still like the pose. This was also a digital painting test.
I made these concept character drawings when I was playing some Dungeons & Dragons with some friends.
The little guy is supposed to morph into the big baddie.
Character Concept Art made for a 3D comic book called The Timekeepers. These are the main five characters.

My Left Hand.
This illustration of my hand was made for the first multimedia C.V. I made for myself, the fingers where each a section, the hand itself the navigation interface, representing the "hand that creates", though I'm right handed (chuckle).
This was one of my first digital illustrations.
The background is actually a retouched photograph, the T-Rex was first an artline illustration, I later colored it digitally.
Color pencil illustration made of a beetle from a preserved specimen, that by the way, had VERY faded colors (rant rant). This was part of a project to promote the Insect Museum of the Universidad de Costa Rica.
Another beetle part of the same project, the original illustrations are about a 8 1/2 x 11" sized page. Along with these beetles I had also made some intricate arabesque like pattern with various insect families.
This color pencil illustration with a comedic twist was done purely for fun.
I've had a thing for dinosaurs since I was a kid... originally I wanted to be a Paleontologist when I grew up, guess I wasn't into kaki shorts and a wild beard look.
Another of my loves: Mithology, specially Greek/Roman, Nord and Scandinavian. I know the abdominal muscles (human torso) on this illustration of a centaur are kind of weird... but what the heck, who's to say what they really look like??
Once working within an Applications Development Department one of the developers came to me with a request for an illustration or cartoon depicting a "BUG", such as the bugs that sometimes inhabit applications. This was the result.
A more detailed view of the Timekeepers characters concept art illustrations. This character's name was Cepheus and actually was based on the appereance of the creator of the story/script. Don't ask me about it, his idea (chuckle), I guess he felt he had super powers or something (louder chuckle).
Trans, I think his super power was that he could push back time 15 secs. Well, you could argue a lot of things could happen in 15 secs, then again, you might just have enough time to scratch your nose. This concept art illustration was trying to get a hindu kind of look to the character.
Glass, he was supposed to change to glass, and things around him to glass as his special power. I have to mention that there was only one inmortal in these five characters, and guess what, it was their leader, the one that looked like the author (laughing loudly now).
Feather, she could create feathers out of thin air. Hmmm... I don't remember if that was all there was to it, but if it was, she could start her own personal pillow empire. Her character concept art illustration was based on a mix of Halle Berry and a picture of the author's daughter.
I can't remember the name for this character, or her special super power... She was the oriental in the group (DUH). Oh, btw, all these are black and white color pencil illustrations over brown paper.
